1. Acceptance
These Terms govern the submission of candidate enquiries, Expressions of Interest, CVs and participation in recruitment services provided by DocHop Medical Recruitment Pty Ltd.
By submitting a candidate registration or EOI and accepting these Terms, the candidate agrees to the conditions set out below.
2. Services provided
DocHop provides recruitment-related services that may include:
- Reviewing professional background and career interests.
- Providing general information about potential Australian career and registration pathways.
- Identifying potential employment opportunities.
- Matching candidates with prospective employers.
- Arranging interviews and facilitating employer introductions.
- Coordinating recruitment communications and preliminary credential checks.
- Facilitating introductions to independent professional advisers when requested.
Services depend on candidate eligibility, available opportunities and employer requirements.
3. Candidate eligibility and accuracy
Candidates must provide information that is accurate, genuine and not materially misleading.
Candidates agree to disclose relevant changes to qualifications, professional registration, employment eligibility or other information material to recruitment.
DocHop may request reasonable verification of professional information and may suspend or discontinue recruitment assistance where significant discrepancies arise.
4. Professional registration and employment
DocHop does not grant professional registration, Fellowship, employment approval or visa status.
Registration and professional recognition decisions are made by the relevant authorities, including Ahpra, the Medical Board of Australia and specialist colleges.
Employment offers, contractual terms and appointment decisions are determined by prospective employers.
No particular outcome, remuneration, commencement date or processing timeframe is guaranteed.
5. Confidential candidate introductions
DocHop will seek candidate authorisation before sending an identifiable CV or profile to a particular prospective employer.
Candidates are not obliged to accept an introduction, interview or job offer.
DocHop may maintain records of introductions and recruitment communications for legitimate recruitment administration and contractual compliance.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a candidate from independently pursuing employment, obtaining professional advice or exercising lawful rights.
6. Candidate fees
Submission of an Expression of Interest, initial candidate registration and consideration for ordinary recruitment opportunities are free of charge.
Any optional paid service introduced in future will require separate disclosure of its scope, price and terms before the candidate agrees to purchase it.
Fees charged by independent professional advisers are separate from DocHop recruitment services.
7. Independent migration advice
DocHop is not a migration advisory service and does not provide regulated immigration assistance unless independently authorised.
Where requested, DocHop may introduce candidates to an appropriately authorised migration professional.
Candidates may choose their own migration adviser and are not required to engage a DocHop-referred provider.
Any migration service is governed by a separate agreement between the candidate and the adviser.
8. Candidate confidentiality
Candidates may receive non-public information about employers, vacancies, recruitment arrangements and other business matters.
Candidates agree to use such information responsibly and not disclose confidential employer information without appropriate authorisation, except where disclosure is permitted or required by law.
This clause does not restrict lawful discussions about employment conditions, protected disclosures or access to professional advice.
9. Communications and privacy
DocHop may contact candidates about their enquiry, recruitment progress, relevant positions and interview arrangements.
Candidate information is handled under the DocHop Candidate Privacy Policy.
Promotional marketing communications are subject to separate consent or another lawful basis.
10. Withdrawal and discontinuation
Candidates may withdraw from recruitment consideration by contacting DocHop.
DocHop may discontinue assistance where no suitable opportunities exist, necessary information is unavailable, or there is another reasonable business or compliance concern.
Information already shared lawfully with an employer or independent adviser may remain subject to that recipient's own recordkeeping obligations.
11. Information and website content
Information published by DocHop about registration pathways, employment, migration, remuneration or relocation is general information only.
Candidates should verify current requirements directly with relevant regulators, employers and appropriately qualified advisers.

DocHop will exercise reasonable care in delivering its services.
To the extent permitted by law, DocHop is not responsible for independent decisions made by employers, registration authorities, migration professionals or other third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, remedies or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law protections.
